New York, NY August 21, 2009 – Fashion designer and former Houstonian CESAR GALINDO will be showing his Spring 2010 collection, Thursday, September 10th at 7PM with Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at M2Lounge at 528 West 28th Street, between 10 & 11th Ave. Presenting sponsor: HOUSTON CONVENTION & VISITORS BUREAU (CVB), sponsors: REDKEN 5th Avenue NYC, MILANI Color With Impact, PARTIDA Tequila, MESSINA HOF Winery & Resort, SAINT ARNOLD Brewing Company & ANVIL Bar & Refuge.
Galindo states, “The current moment dictates original design desires and my clientele expects pieces which take them places and allows them to be feminine, beautiful, captivating and not basic at this point in time. They seek looks, which are classic, forward, and filled with fantasy. Fantasy is part of the modern movement currently at hand and I intend to reflect on it with this collection”.
For Spring 2010 Galindo takes you on a journey back into the future but with today’s fun and creative ease of styles, colors, textures and designs. Impeccably tailored cocktail dresses, gowns & suitings- a Galindo trademark are exquisitely designed with unique patterns, orchestrated seams; one-seam garments and engineered doses of lux architecture perfectly accentuate Galindo’s silhouettes.
Colors- red, fuchsia, orange, taupe, gold, silver, black & white. Textures- matte, shines, clear & multi-layered. Fabrics- foiled linen, silk charmuse, wovens, chiffon solids and polka dots, some accentuated with accents of metal, mesh & beading and custom painted jeweled embellished details are focal points that effortlessly sculpture and control the look.
Expect LIFT-OFF! For Cesar will captivate us and turn out a fashion show with plenty of color, glam, drama, looks and sound, a total package!
