WHEN: Saturday, July 18, 2009 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
WHERE: Tommy Hilfiger 616 Collins Avenue Miami Beach, FL 33139
WHAT: Amidst the week swimwear fashion shows, Tommy Hilfiger’s Miami Fashion Week Swim 2010 soiree was a breath of fresh air. Sans tent, catwalk, fussy doormen or seating chaos, the cocktail reception offered guests the chance to interact first-hand with the brand’s American-chic apparel and the store’s unique collection of high-end vintage clothing from world-renowned designers including Chanel, Versace, Missoni and Pucci, among others.
The reception, held on Saturday, July 18 at Tommy Hilfiger South Beach on Collins Avenue, was co-hosted by Miami VIPs Carolina Argiz, Vivianne Kurzweil, Eric Lesperance, Diego Ojeda and Dana Shear with appearances by Miami Social’s (Bravo) Maria Lankina and “Sham Wow” pitchman Vince Shlomi. While enjoying music by Johnny the Boy, passed hors d’oeuvres and complimentary cocktails, guests mingled and shopped in the store’s Florida Room-esque mezzanine and annex-turned-surf shop to raise funds for United Way. To close the perfect evening, all guests received Tommy Hilfiger’s signature beach essentials, including beach towels and vintage summer reading books.
